As a 33-year resident, I am passionate about Albuquerque...its diverse people, culture and environment! After living and experiencing daily commutes in Denver and Houston, I have a GREAT appreciation for the small-town feel and big-city amenities offered by Albuquerque, all in the spectacular backdrop of the Sandia Mountains! My real estate career has been supplemented by 20 years of computer programming, giving me the advantage of a technical expertise required in today s market. Growing up in a rural community in Arizona has ingrained small town values that I carry into my business...sense of community, helping each other, being genuine and compassionate, and going the extra mile with creative problem-solving to ensure my clients needs and expectations are satisfied. Within our community, I volunteer on the board at EWI (Executive Women International) and as philanthropic director organize the annual reading rally and school supplies at a local elementary school. I volunteer on the board at Cloud Dancer Therapeutic Horsemanship in Corrales (as well as assisting with riders and tacking, feeding and/or mucking the horses 1 to 2 days a week). As a parent, I have volunteered at APS, coached youth soccer, been an organizer for Duke City Developmental Soccer and helped at Run for the Zoo, Rebuild Albuquerque Together and other non-profit organizations. Being involved and giving back, I feel, is key to building a strong, vibrant community. Real estate is constantly changing and being inundated with new technologies, services and federal and local laws/mandates. You need to work with someone you can trust to be up-to-date, experienced and knowledgeable. Coming from a family of educators has instilled in me a passion for life-long learning, both personally and professionally. In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems, I have combined my programming and training experience and completed a Master of Arts in Education at UNM (and have developed several online instructional courses for state agencies). My commitment to continuing education is also reflected by my numerous real estate designations and certifications (CRS, SRES, e-PRO). When I am not working or volunteering, you will often find me hiking in the foothills or bosque, playing tennis, reading, trying new recipes, or photographing beautiful/unique places around the state or country. With over 22 years experience of selling homes in the greater Albuquerque area and over 98% of my business generated from repeat clients and referrals, I have a proven track record.
